Dark mode cannot be turned on or off in the Instagram app for iPhone and can only be adjusted in your iPhone's device settings.
- Dark mode adjusts the colors on your screen for a darker appearance. You can choose to turn dark mode on or off for each device you use to access Instagram.
Turn on dark mode for Threads:
Go to Instagram:
- Click
More in the bottom left.
- Click Switch appearance, then click
to turn dark mode on.
Note: Turning on dark mode for Instagram.com from your computer will only enable dark mode on Instagram.com from that device. If you'd like to turn on dark mode for Instagram.com from your mobile browser or in the Instagram app, you'll need to go to each device to enable it.
